I am an avid product manager/ data and business analyst, and a passionate mixed-methods researcher in Software Engineering, Agile, and HCI. I use statistical analysis, machine learning, and Grounded Theory in my work. My current research focuses on developer productivity, product management, privacy engineering, and human values in AI-driven software, in which I investigate the experiences of users and developers to come up with optimal solutions beneficial for both parties.
I currently work as a Research Fellow (Level B) under Australian Laureate Professor John Grundy in the HumaniSE Lab, Monash University, Australia. I worked as an Associate Consultant (product/project/stakeholder management, product design, business analysis) at myDigitalOffice. I am open to industry positions/ collaborations. If you are interested, feel free to contact me.
I did my PhD in Software Engineering at Monash University, Australia and I won the Postgraduate Publications Award 2022 awarded by the Faculty of IT. I hold a first class BSc. (Special) degree in Computing and Information Systems from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
I am a shutterbug and I love travelling.
